A Voice In Our Culture

I have been living the last few days thinking about and trying to ponder what it means to live  in Thanksgiving – specifically, the idea of what it means to live a life filled with thanks to God for Him.  I do not mean the things that He does for us.  I do not mean the blessings He gives to us.  I do not mean the promises that He has made for us.  I simply mean living a life filled with thanks to God for who He is.  He is God.  That is profound folks because we seem to live in an age where we think that there is no God or at the very least that we are free to choose our god.  Now to an extent, that last statement is true . . . to an extent. We can choose who or what we will follow as god, but there is a passage of verses in Paul’s letter to the church at Philippi that tells us that ultimately everyone who has lived, who is alive and who will live will see that He is God and there is no other. No One Saw That Coming! 11/9/16
