| The Mission of Angus Church |

Our Mission

“The mission of Angus Church is to E.N.G.A.G.E. our community in learning to become more like Christ”

Angus Church is about being more than just a place to go or an event to attend; we are a community of people who have been changed by the love of God and want to change our community in response. It’s our desire to make known the good news of God’s love within our own congregation as well as outside the walls in our community.
How We Do It
  • Establish who we are in Christ
  • Narrate our life as part of the work that God is doing in the world
  • Grow our relationship with Jesus both personally and corporately
  • Act on the love that God has shown us by showing that love to the world
  • Give everything we have to God; our time, money, relationships, service…everything
  • Equip ourselves and others to live the life God intends for disciples of Christ

| We Believe |

We believe in one God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
• We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
• We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
• We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
• We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
• We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
• We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
