On the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month Angus Church hands out boxes of food to anyone in need as a part of our food bank ministry. Distribution is held in the gymnasium at the back of the church building. Angus is able to do this by partnering with Road Runner Food Bank.
Led by Ed and Jo Beth Vinson, the mission is to help grandparents become aware of the need to intentionally pass on the experiences with God from one generation to the next. Intentional is a word that requires purpose and determination, because passing on the legacy requires first realizing what God has done for you then figuring out how to share that with your grand kids.
Ed and Jo Beth are going to different congregations sharing the importance for Christian Grandparents to pass on their experiences with God to their grand kids. Their prayer is to find people with similar hearts to take on the cause in each congregation they visit and then to support them in their ministry to each church.
